  1. Prepare 12 slice of Bakery-style cinnamon or egg bread.
  2. It's 3 tbsp of Unsalted butter, softened.
  3. It's 4 cup of Frozen wild blueberries.
  4. It's 1 tbsp of Cornstarch.
  5. Prepare 250 grams of Package cream cheese, diced.
  6. You need 5 of Eggs.
  7. You need 1 1/2 cup of Half-and-half cream.
  8. You need 1/2 cup of Granulated sugar.
  9. You need 1 tsp of Vanilla.
  10. Prepare 2 cup of Cornflakes, crushed.
  11. You need 1 of Icing sugar.

Blueberry cream cheese french toast instructions

  1. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  2. Place half of the bread slices into a 9 x 13 in baking dish, butter-side down.
  3. Stir cornstarch into blueberries and sprinkle over bread slices.
  4. Dot with cream cheese and top with remaining bread slices, butter-side down, to allow egg to soak into the bread.
  5. In a large bowl, whisk together, eggs, cream, sugar and vanilla until well combined.
  6. Pour over bread and cover with plastic wrap.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or for up to 24 hours.
  8. Uncover.
  9. Using a spatula, press bread down gently.
  10. Sprinkle with cornflakes and bake in the centre of a preheated 375°F oven for about 45 minutes, or until knife inserted in centre comes out clean.
  11. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
  12. Dust with icing sugar if desired.
