- Prepare of To grind.
- You need 1/2 cup of Urad dal.
- It's of Pepper corns few.
- You need of To add.
- It's of Onion finely chopped.
- You need of Chilli.
- Prepare of Cilantro.
- You need of Ginger.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of Rice flour.
- Prepare of Salt per taste.
Medu vada waffles step by step
- Soak urad dal for 3 hrs & grind in to a smooth paste along with pepper corns.
- Add the ingredients in to add.
- Mix well. Heat a waffle iron, grease with some oil & spread evenly.
- Cook till it browns on the top. Remove & serve with sambar & chutney.
If batter is too soft: it will not be able to hold the shape and will absorb too much oil. Medu Vada is a classic South Indian gluten-free vegetarian fritter.
